Drinking fountain taps are also called bubbler valves. They supply the user with drinking water, and are operated with a push button valve. Occasionally they may need replacing, our bubbler taps are supplied complete with washer and backnut and a 15mm pipework compression fitting. Ideal for refurbishing neglected drinking water fountains or malfunctioning bubblers. Replacement bubbler tap cartridges and repair kits are also available for our fountain taps.

Swan neck bottle fillers are available as complete units with a backnut and washer. Whether you need to replace an existing filler, or convert a standard drinking fountain into a bottle filler unit, the swan necked fillers are in stock for quick delivery.

Refurbishing your existing drinking water fountains is the cheapest and most environmentally friendly method to prolong the lifespan of your equipment. There are many reasons why water fountains require refurbishment including: vandalism, lack of regular maintenance, frost damage and general wear and tear.

Drinking fountain refurbishment will often include thorough cleaning, the replacement of internal bubbler components, or replacement of the whole tap or cup filling spout. The replacement bubbler valve taps we supply are used on many fountains including our own, and popular models from Acorn Powell, Elkay, Maestro, Halsey Taylor and others. The bubblers will fit many models using a similar design bubbler, but may require a little bit of alteration to the pipework or fountain body.
Swan necks bottle fillers are unfortunately an easy source of vandalism on bottle filler fountains due to their design and function, these can be replaced with like for like spouts, or alternatively with bubbler valve taps.

Drinking fountains installed outside can be prone to freezing in very cold temperatures, this applies to any water supply and fitting in an external location. Freezing can damage the internal cartridge inside the bubbler, or occasionally heavy freezing can damage the bubbler valve body itself. Cartridges are easily and cheaply changed, or in the worst-case scenario the whole bubbler will need to be changed. Prevention is always better than the cure for frost damage, in times of very cold weather the water supply should be isolated, and the pipework and bubbler valve drained down. This simple operation will save on down time and reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
